Guilding Abandoned Insect Nests

As we explored the burnt down, abandoned Psiloritis building, I discovered what looked like small balls of clay thrown on the wall: sand-coloured, mysterious blobs fixed in corners high up on walls and against the ceiling. My curiosity was piqued and when I got up close I realized they were abandoned insect nests. To highlight these bio-architectural treasures, so elegantly integrated into the brutal industrial architecture, I decided to cover them in gold. Gold symbolizes what is purest, most excellent, most noble, most enduring, most sought after, most ideal and most valued in terms of human aspirations, behaviour, and relationships.
