The imposing carcass of the “Ψυγεία ο Ψηλορείτης” building, next to Kifissos, played a decisive role for the project of the SuperSport#3 initiative. The way I chose to intervene in the space with the installation After is through DIY construction and tactile mediation. My intention to reproduce the very thin metal serpentine that is industrially produced in a handmade rough-hewn way is the core of this in situ work that changes form and content depending on the natural light and weather conditions. The intention of the work is to stage an ephemeral event that preceded while we are present in its aftermath. What reflects the morning light on the floor returns like a rhythmic shiver to the surrounding walls, but with the arrival of rain and the wind that enters unhindered through the uncovered openings, the accumulation of material changes form and acquires a heavy undulation that pretends to be its organic matter.

In the dim silence of an abandoned building, The Visitors emerge through augmented reality, fragmented sculptures floating where walls once held memory. Their forms, stitched from digital echoes and recycled matter, shimmer against the cracked concrete, observing without eyes. As you move through the space, their presence shifts with you, not haunting, but remembering. https://openar.art/a/7v7CsgLRGqffJt03…

and we headed away from the metro into narrower streets when we took a turn around the corner to the old bus station. The area was a wreck.
