DISORDERED UTOPIA, ECO-DYSTOPIA
IS REPUGNANCE AND LOATHING OF THE PATTERN A NATURAL RESPONSE?
Stavroula implements mannerisms of ordered natural repetition not to depict its utopian
allure but rather to create a contrasting dystopian ecosystem; an oxymoron.
This approach seeks to evoke mixed feelings and a sense of duality within a space,
reflecting the complexity of every entity. The same principle applies to the means and
mediums she employs, which are a fusion of organic and industrial elements.

As this framework is increasingly structured in a suffocating way, observation and intervention in cases of fascist references becomes the minimum gesture against the darkness of Nazism. In the abandoned building of Psiloritis, the signs of hatred – swastikas, nationalist…

The Dinner In the moment that society consumes everything at a fast pace, with less and less thinking and feeling, humans have become products. This cannibalistic dinner, is an allegory, about the form that human relationships have taken in the developed world.
