Metallic tree planting, revenge of the iron beam.

I decided to plant metallic trees with some iron beams i had taken from a demolished building, in this way i wanted to manifest the “revenge of the iron beams”. Instead of the iron to be used as a structure material, it will be presenting itself like growing out of the concrete, as if it has its own right to live and be seen. With this performance, i wanted to “give voice” to these steel beams by planting them revenge oftheironbeam.mp4 it in the middle of a passageway. I made a kind of performance – demonstration, by forcing visitors to interact with them and with me planting them.
