There is no Country but childhood’s (R. Barthes)

A theatrical performance between tenderness and morbidity.

Are we ever truly innocent?

A conversation between our inner space and the very special space of this abandoned factory.

This special space, a huge room without windows, became part of the performance.

The sound had an intense reverberation giving its own timbre, and we had the opportunity to work visually with light and shadow. The visual element interacted with the theatrical.

The reappropriation of public space as a social space and as a place for managing memory is a direct involvement in its political management.

Space is a social construction that is directly related to the understanding of different stories, individual and collective, of people and the production of cultural phenomena.

Super Sport 3 happened at Ψυγεία Ο Ψηλορείτης on 16 NOV 2024. A once-functioning company, wedged along the northern artery into the capital—right where Metamorfosi meets Nea Filadelfia. They specialized in refrigerated storage. Cold vaults meant to preserve product. What’s left now? Debt and ash.

The idea of such an ‘acoustic hole’, as she called it, has fascinated me ever…

The room invites you with ample seating. Images are pasted over a history of graphical expressions: a panda, Norman Fell (again and again), lewd papayas, Don Knotts (too much, but why resist?), a monkey wearing a cowboy hat, chihuahuas, more lewd papayas, eggs, eggs, eggs (what a luxury!!). In the frame of a window: a…

In the dim silence of an abandoned building, The Visitors emerge through augmented reality, fragmented sculptures floating where walls once held memory. Their forms, stitched from digital echoes and recycled matter, shimmer against the cracked concrete, observing without eyes. As you move through the space, their presence shifts with you, not haunting, but remembering. https://openar.art/a/7v7CsgLRGqffJt03…
